The Pitch:
Walmart Business is one of the most renowned and preferred store for all office and business essentials. mCanvas decided to proactively pitch various interactive and animated ad formats with the objective to help them get more sales and sign ups. I was the creative POC for this project and worked on the ask after some basic understanding of the brand with the materials found online.
The Ask:
After my initial pitch caught their interest in August 2023, the brand gave us the budgets and the liberty to plan out the duration and timeline for multiple campaigns, keeping click-outs, sign ups, sale, and promotion of Flash Deals, as objectives.
Search for insights:
The brand provided us with their detailed guidelines which helped me understand exactly the way they communicate with their consumers, verbally and visually. My diligent adherence to their guidelines fostered a relationship of trust between us and the brand, so much so that there wasn’t a need for feedback calls from them. The B2B industry was comparatively new to me. To get some audience insights, I looked for articles on online Ad magazines such as WARC and news sites, while also seeking guidance of our team’s Creative Director.
Solution:
Walmart Business has been collaborating with us since November 2023, giving us budgets that have contributed immensely to the revenue of mCanvas. In this span of time, we conducted A/B testing for CTAs, ran interactive and animated campaigns, and regularly analyzed the metrics to optimize them effectively.
